About Hydrotherapy Access
Illawarra Rehabilitation Clinic is proud to offer one of the most accessible hydrotherapy facilities in the Illawarra. Our purpose-built hydrotherapy pool in Warilla is equipped with a state-of-the-art ceiling hoist system, allowing safe, comfortable and dignified transfers into and out of the water for people with limited mobility. This makes hydrotherapy accessible for patients with physical disabilities, neurological conditions, spinal injuries, stroke, arthritis and post-surgical rehabilitation needs. We also provide wheelchair access, an in-clinic commode and personalised assistance from our experienced team. Unlike many rehabilitation facilities, our advanced ceiling hoist enables clients who may otherwise be unable to access a pool environment to safely participate in hydrotherapy and rehabilitation. Patients from Warilla, Shellharbour, Wollongong and the wider Illawarra travel to our clinic to access these specialised facilities and services.
