About NDIS

At Illawarra Rehabilitation Clinic, we provide personalised physiotherapy, exercise physiology and hydrotherapy services for NDIS participants of all ages and abilities. Our experienced team works closely with participants, families, support coordinators and carers to deliver goal-focused rehabilitation that improves mobility, independence, confidence and quality of life.

We support people living with physical disabilities, neurological conditions and complex mobility challenges, including stroke, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, acquired brain injuries, spinal cord injuries and other neurological and musculoskeletal conditions. Every rehabilitation program is tailored to the participant’s individual goals, abilities and support needs.

What sets Illawarra Rehabilitation Clinic apart is our purpose-built and highly accessible rehabilitation facility. We offer wheelchair access throughout the clinic, accessible amenities, ramp access, a purpose-built hydrotherapy pool, an in-clinic commode and a state-of-the-art ceiling hoist system that provides safe and dignified access to the pool for people with limited mobility. These specialised features allow many participants to access hydrotherapy and rehabilitation services that may not be available in traditional aquatic facilities.

Through a combination of physiotherapy, exercise physiology, hydrotherapy and rehabilitation gym programs, we help participants improve strength, balance, mobility, endurance and physical function. Our aim is to maximise independence, increase participation in everyday activities and help each person achieve meaningful outcomes that enhance their quality of life.

Whether your goals involve walking further, improving balance, transferring more independently, increasing strength or enhancing community participation, our team is committed to providing supportive, evidence-based care in a safe and welcoming environment.
